Welcome to WashU!
We are excited to welcome counselors to campus for our Counselor Visit Program, Wednesday, March 25, through Friday, March 27, 2026! This program is by invitation only – please do not forward this information to other colleagues without approval from the WashU Counselor Visit Program Planning Team.
We’re thrilled to partner with you so that we can better serve students together.
Booking travel
Once you have registered to attend our Counselor Visit Program, please follow the instructions below to book travel:
If you are flying to St. Louis, please call Bonnie Sacco-Meyer with TravelPlex travel agency at 314-991-5424 to make your travel arrangements. Please finalize your travel arrangements as soon as possible, but no later than January 24. Be sure to indicate that you are a counselor attending the Counselor Visit Program at WashU. To ensure that all counselors are on campus and able to participate in our full schedule of programming, we would like all flights to arrive in St. Louis between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25. Our expectation is that departures will begin around 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, to make sure all can participate in the day’s sessions.
If you choose to travel by car to St. Louis, WashU will reimburse you for your mileage for a roundtrip visit between your home address and WashU (up to the cost of a flight from the airport nearest your home). The IRS standard mileage rate is currently 70 cents/mile.
All Counselor Visit Program attendees will be staying on campus at The Charles F. Knight Executive Education and Conference Center. All hotel arrangements are made by WashU in advance for those registered to attend the program. Please note check-in time is 3:00 p.m., and checkout time is 12:00 p.m.
