We’re a community of individuals who can tackle any challenge

Our community celebrates the diversity on our campus and comes together to learn more about one another and listen to each other’s ideas. The diverse perspectives of our community come to life in the classroom where students engage in lively discussion, challenging and supporting each other to leave comfort zones, both inside and outside the classroom.

WashU—it’s in the Lou!

We know that choosing a college also means choosing a city. Luckily, WashU is nestled in the heart of St. Louis—a vibrant and diverse city with a lot to offer in terms of history, entrepreneurship, culture, entertainment, sports, and dining.

Something for everyone

With more than 450 student organizations, you can connect with people who have similar interests or explore a new path.

RESIDENTIAL LIVING

Home away from home

Throughout 40 acres of undergraduate residential life space, there are 23 residential halls which make up our 10 residential colleges—all forming one single community. Each Res College has its own unique resources, activities, and traditions.

Living at WashUDining Services

One of the things that I love about WashU is the dorms. And I don’t just mean the rooms. They’re great, but it is the community that makes dorm life at WashU so wonderful.

Campus Traditions

We are proud of our beloved campus traditions, many of which take place on an annual basis. These customs and habits create a strong connection to the physical campus for all who spend time here.
