Daily campus visits

In-person campus visits are offered Monday through Friday and some Saturdays. Your visit will include a 45-minute information session, followed by a 75-minute student-led campus tour. Our information session will provide an overview of WashU, our programs as well as the admission and financial aid process.

Additional on-campus academic division sessions and/or tours are offered on Mondays and Fridays.

Application Essay Writing and Financial Aid Presentations

August 12

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will share insider tips with you on writing application essays. Concurrently, Student Financial Services will talk with families about navigating the financial assistance process.

An optional Campus Tour check-in starts at 5 p.m., with the tour departing at 5:30 p.m. (pre-registration required)

Program begins promptly at 7 p.m.

Discover WashU Days

Discover WashU Days are all-day campus experiences with several opportunities to learn about WashU. These include an Admissions & Aid presentation, a student-led campus tour, and a current student panel in the morning, followed by an afternoon of information sessions spotlighting academic schools, student services, and more!

Space is limited, so be sure to register early.

Group visits

Group visits are offered for students in grades 9 through 12.

Please note that sessions and/or tours may be canceled if extreme weather poses a severe risk to visitor, staff or student safety.

Bear Chats

Schedule an informal “Bear Chat” with a Bear Ambassador! In-person and virtual Bear Chats are open to any interested student beginning the spring before their senior year.

High school visits

Throughout the spring and fall, our admission officers will be visiting high schools (in person and virtually) to connect with students and share information about WashU, St. Louis, and the admissions and financial aid process.

Road to College virtual series

Join WashU in partnership with Emory University, Johns Hopkins University, and University of Notre Dame for our Road to College virtual series!

Knowing how and when to apply to college is important for success in a highly selective admissions process. In this session, How to Choose Your Decision Plan, you’ll hear from admissions officers about leveraging regular and early admissions plans to optimize your application.
