Daily campus visits

In-person campus visits are offered Monday through Friday and some Saturdays. Your visit will include a 45-minute information session, followed by a 75-minute student-led campus tour. Our information session will provide an overview of WashU, our programs as well as the admission and financial aid process.

Additional on-campus academic division sessions and/or tours are offered on Mondays and Fridays.

Discover WashU Days

Join us for Discover WashU Days! Visit us and see what makes WashU so special. Explore our beautiful campus, world-class academics, and tight-knit community.

Events will be held on the following dates:

  • September 18
  • September 25
  • October 16
  • October 23

Spend the day learning about WashU with an Admissions & Aid presentation, followed by a student-led campus tour in the morning. During the afternoon, you’ll have the opportunity to attend information sessions spotlighting academic offerings, attend a student panel or case study, and end the day with a local treat.

Space is limited, so be sure to register early.

Academic Showcase Days

These visits include an Admissions & Aid presentation, a student-led campus tour, and a Lightning Lecture featuring professors from our College of Arts & Sciences. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to sign up for additional sessions from the Olin Business School, McKelvey School of Engineering, and Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts.

Space is limited, so be sure to register early.

Group visits

Group visits are offered for students in grades 9 through 12.

Please note that sessions and/or tours may be canceled if extreme weather poses a severe risk to visitor, staff or student safety.

Bear Chats

Schedule an informal “Bear Chat” with a Bear Ambassador! In-person and virtual Bear Chats are open to any interested student beginning the spring before their senior year.

We invite you to join LAUNCH partners in a city near you to hear more about our distinctive learning opportunities and dynamic communities. Admissions officers from our five schools will share a variety of perspectives on:

  • Selective Admissions and Individualized Review
  • Campus Community

Each of our schools is unique, but we are united in our commitment to support students and families in making informed decisions about applying to college. At the end of our program, you’ll have a chance to meet with individual admissions officers to ask questions about each college and university. Register now if you haven’t yet. National Portfolio Days

Share your work with representatives from WashU’s Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at upcoming in-person and virtural National Portfolio Days.

At these free events, students can meet with representatives from accredited colleges and universities across the U.S. and get valuable feedback on their portfolios.

Sam Fox School representatives will be available to review your portfolio, give you helpful tips on the application process, and speak with you about the art, architecture, and design programs at WashU.

High school visits

Throughout the spring and fall, our admission officers will be visiting high schools (in person and virtually) to connect with students and share information about WashU, St. Louis, and the admissions and financial aid process.
